Meet the Multistrada Enduro Part 1
Ducati have thrown a cat amongst the pidgeons with its all new Ducati Multistrada Enduro. It is more than a dual purpose bike with spoke wheels thrown on. It is new from the ground up with over 60 new parts designed specifically for the new Ducati Multistrada Enduro that are not found on its brother the Multistrada 1200, Multistrada 1200S or the Multistrada Pikes Peak. Click here to discover them.
At first sight the new Ducati Multistrada Enduro can look a little intimidating. It has a higher seat height a bigger 30 litre fuel tank and 30mm more front and rear suspension travel than its road going siblings. Combine these features with a pair of aluminum panniers and off road wheels and tyres and you have one mean looking bike that looks like it is ready to take you anywhere and everywhere.
Once you throw a leg over the new Ducati Multistrada Enduro its apparent size issues become extinct. What you find is a very well balanced and nimble machine that you feel at home on straight away. All controls on the new Multi Enduro are within easy reach and work flawlessly. With the flick of your thumb you have access to the 4 riding modes, cruise control and other features such as trip distance, trip time, range, engine temperature, outside temperature along with a clock and other gauges that you would expect to find.
This is what we found after our initial time spent on the new Ducati Multistrada Enduro, we are looking forward to getting some bigger kilometers and hours behind the bars, but our first impressions are very positive.
We found the Multi Enduro very easy to tip into corners at all speeds and very maneuverable. Once on the open road the Multi Enduro offered awesome wind protection with plenty of top end speed and torque for safe overtaking.
Stay tuned for Part 2 of meet the new Multistrada Enduro.
